NBA: Phoenix vs. Memphis
Amare Stoudemire had 28 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday, propelling the Phoenix Suns to a 127-113 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Raja Bell scored 18 points and Steve Nash had 16 points and eight assists for the Suns, who had seven players in double figures.
Phoenix moved within 1 1/2 games of the Los Angeles Lakers for the top spot in the Pacific Division.
Shaq O'Neal, the All-Star center obtained from Miami this season, was out with a right hip contusion.
Grant Hill had 17 points for Phoenix, which has won five of its last seven games.
Rudy Gay had 36 points and eight rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have lost eight straight times to the Suns. Mike Conley had 19 points before fouling out for Memphis, which has lost six of its last nine games.
